Information we keep

  • Account, verification, and profile details that help you sign in and use the product.
  • Posts, confessions, chats, media, and support messages that you choose to send through Spyll.
  • Basic device, app, and usage data that helps us keep the product working, detect abuse, and fix bugs.
  • Records connected to moderation, safety review, or support requests when something needs follow-up.
02

How we use it

  • To run the product, verify access, and keep accounts secure.
  • To review reports, moderate harmful content, investigate abuse, and respond when something needs attention.
  • To improve reliability, performance, notifications, and product decisions over time.
  • To contact you when a support request, moderation issue, or account problem needs a response.
03

Public content and anonymous spaces

On anonymous parts of Spyll, the identity shown to other users is separated from the account details used to access the app.

Some posts and confessions can be visible without login, and public content can still be shared, linked, screenshotted, or indexed outside Spyll.

If you put your own name or personal details into a post, other people can still see that, so keep private details out of public content.

04

Who we work with

  • We rely on service providers for hosting, analytics, notifications, storage, and support tooling.
  • If we need to investigate abuse, respond to a valid safety or legal request, or protect users on the platform, we may review and share the minimum information needed for that purpose.
  • We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
05

Retention and your choices

We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the product, respond to support or safety issues, and maintain the integrity of the service.

If you need help with a privacy concern, a public post, or a removal request, contact us directly or send a review request with enough context for the team to verify it.

Please include links, screenshots, or usernames when a request is tied to a specific post or profile.
